Investing in the Future: Practical Veterinary Training in Al-Ahsa
Stepping into the clinic in Al-Ahsa, you could immediately feel the energy, curiosity, focus, and a genuine passion for learning. In line with Nova Pharma’s belief that true investment begins with empowering the youth of our nation, Nova Pharma KSA, in collaboration with Rahma Welfare Animal Shelter Clinic, organized an intensive one-week practical training program for veterinary medicine students from King Faisal University.
Throughout the week, the students immersed themselves in hands-on workshops covering the fundamental principles of pet examination, diagnosis, and laboratory analysis. From conducting structured clinical assessments to interpreting lab findings, every session was designed to translate theory into real clinical competence.
The training went further, offering practical exposure to diagnostic tools such as ultrasound and X-ray imaging. In the surgical suite, students observed and participated in procedures, from preparation and sterilization protocols to careful execution, under the expert supervision of Dr. Mohamed Bahr, Technical Manager of Nova Pharma KSA, and Dr. Abdelrahman Fahmy, Manager of Rahmah Shelter Clinic.
Watching their confidence grow day by day was truly inspiring. This workshop successfully bridged academic learning with practical application, equipping participants with the skills and mindset needed to enter the veterinary job market, particularly in companion animal care.
We are proud of these exceptional students and deeply grateful for our partnership with Rahmah Shelter Clinic as we continue investing in the future of veterinary medicine in the Kingdom.
